Introduction

A well-known Supplier of premium branded liquor based in Durban has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Representative / Brand Builder to join their team.

Description

Duties (will include but not limited to):

  • Implement and create awareness of the strategic focus drive initiative
  • Achieve set volume and value target on focus brands
  • Providing brand activation campaigns through, sales promotions and hosting of events
  • Increase sales coverage by identifying new sales prospects
  • Implement sales force effectiveness process
  • Being responsible for selling and marketing of premium to super premium Brands
  • Optimise all resources to achieve sales targets
  • Achieve cold and ambient space targets by brand category
  • Be active in the trade by identifying opportunities and potential problems
  • Build effective relationships with customers and relevant stakeholders
  • Engage to servicing customers and implementing strategies
  • Providing timeous feedback to RSM and MH trade and marketing manager
  • Initiating and planning training of new brands, activations and promotions
  • Events planning and management
  • Negotiate forward share space with key accounts and independent customers

Education

Minimum Requirements:

  • Preferably a Tertiary Qualification in Marketing and Sales and Customer Services
  • Grade 12

Competencies:               

  • Off trade sales experience in the liquor industry (must have knowledge of different alcohols and events)
