Introduction

A well-known Fashion Retailer based in Polokwane, Limpopo has an exciting opportunity for an Area Manager to join their team. We are in need of an achievement orientated person with a flair for customer service and people management. This position requires retail experience, a flair for visual merchandising and a strong numerical and administration ability.

Description

Duties (will include but not limited to):

  • Driving annual turnover
  • Controlling expenses
  • Controlling stock losses
  • Managing and motivating staff
  • Training staff
  • Managing merchandise
  • Handling of IR issues

Education

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12

Competencies:               

  • Aware of issues facing retail in the area
  • Figure and administration orientated
  • Organised and thorough
  • Good people and business manager
  • Profit driven and an effective cost containment manager
  • An independent operator, able to make quick decisions
  • Experienced at a management level
