Description

Duties (will include but not limited to):   

The ideal candidate would need to provide leadership, coaching, and direction to their team, in order to maximize the long-term sales and profit potential of each restaurant. You would need to build a positive business relationship with the Operation Consultants and Restaurant Managers. Key customers include Operations Director, Operations Consultants, Restaurant Management and customers

 

Principal Accountabilities

In addition to the following company policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

People

  • Demonstrates and reinforces the leadership behaviours and basic people minimums necessary to gain commitment from crew and Restaurant Management Team, Operations Consultants and all employees
  • Interviews, hires, and trains Operations Consultants based on market staffing needs and goals
  • Completes and presents performance appraisals based on defined goals and objectives for each Operations Consultant. Ensures that individual development plans are implemented, and staffing objectives are met
  • Partners with the HR Manager to ensure the objectives of an annual Succession Plan/People Plan are met
  • Develops, trains, and contributes to continuously improving the knowledge, skills, and abilities of their respective teams
  • Rewards and recognizes the results of all restaurant employees

QSC/Sales Building

  • Protects the company brand by ensuring that restaurants meets the company QSC, safety and sanitation standards
  • Teaches consultant and restaurant leadership teams critical restaurant systems that produce consistently high levels of QSC
  • Represents the company interest in My Store Marketing and properly executes the national promotions
  • Ensures that there is an on-going My Store Marketing plan for each restaurant
  • Coordinates implementation and execution of new products and processes consistently within their restaurants

Business Results

  • Consults and is accountable for creating a positive work environment while working shoulder to shoulder with the Operations Consultants and Restaurant Management Teams to create and accomplish business and profit plan objectives
  • Uses all informational resources available (such as Opinion Survey, Gap analysis, and customer satisfaction measurement etc.) to identify opportunities and threats to build a business plan to optimize market potential
  • Ensure that restaurants are appropriately staffed with competent crew and restaurant managers
  • Develops and executes reinvestment plans on an annual basis to include opening new restaurants, re-builds, re-models equipment purchases, lease hold improvements and business extensions etc.
  • Develops, administers, and controls the G and A for the Profit Centre
