Our client, reputable mining company based in the North West Province is seeking a skilled FA Practitioner Stores to join their team
Description
DESCRIPTION
SAFETY, HEALTH, ENVIRONMENT AND QUALITY
- Manage SHEQ compliance within the Process through effective use of the Toolbox
- Utilise the Information Management System (IMS) to initiate, investigate and report SHEQ status
- Adhere to all related SOP's, PTO's and CTO's as per Training Matrix per position, SHEQ and company standards
CUSTOMERS
- Ensure Customer Satisfaction
BUSINESS PROCESSES
Inventory Control:
Manage the Inventory Control processes:
- Materials Management
- Ordering
- Receiving
- Issuing
- Create and process requisitions
Computer Systems:
- Oversee the Stores Systems
Critical Items:
- Manage Critical Items (ABC Analysis)
Repairable Stock Items:
- Manage repairable stock items
- Identify rotable spares
- Investigate abnormal reservations
- Assist with adhoc FA generalist duties as required
SOP's:
- Review, update and develop SOP's
GROWTH
- Implement Continuous Improvement opportunities
SHAREHOLDER VALUE
- Monitor and control Stores costs
Education
Requirements
Minimum qualifications:
- Degree or National Diploma in Supply Chain or Procurement
- 5 Years relevant procurement / stores experience
Additional qualification:s:
- SAP knowledge would be advantageous
